Although our initial photographs were taken on a snowy winter day, WALLY actually came to us from sunny Las Vegas, NV where he had been converted to a 1950’s style “hot rod” painted jet black. Lowered with more modern wheels, baby moon hub caps and beauty rings, the wide white wall tires are actually radials and give a significantly improved ride over the original style tires and wheels. We replaced the upholstery with beautiful buckskin colored, pleated vinyl over rebuilt seats to provide much more comfort and leg room than the original cars. Wally sports a real wood steering wheel, tan canvas top, and a heater.

Adding 1950’s style and variety to our fleet, Wally has the same basic 2300 cc engine as the other cars, but in true “hot rod” tradition it has been performance modified to include elements of later engines. In this case Wally’s engine has an upgraded carburetor, portions of a turbo charged Thunderbird 2.3 engine, dual exhaust, and a free flowing header. Eventually we plan to have this engine fully turbo charged. A great way to enjoy a fun 50’s style “hot rod” experience!
